Propolis for agricultural use:

Ideal for protecting plants in ecological and conventional agriculture.
Propolis is a product made by bees from resinous substances that they collect from the buds of trees, bushes and smaller plants.
They put Propolis at the entrance of the hive to seal all the fissures and prevent parasites or disease entering.
Laboratory tests have shown its effective bacteriostatic, bactericide and fungicide properties, apart from its anaesthetic, anti-inflammatory and scar-healing properties.

COMPOSITION

This product is formed by the collection, elaboration and modification by bees of resinous and rubbery substances of plants, containing favonoids, expressed as Galangine 20 mg/ml. (HPLC method).

CHARACTERISTICS

The product does not present any phytotoxicity as such. It is biological, being a natural fungicide and controls pathogenic micro-organisms in an obstructive action that prevents them reproducing while at the same time encouraging the plant to increase its natural defences against attack. Numerous practical applications by professionals have demonstrated the efficacy of its action in combating: Oidium sp, Fusarium sp, Phitoptora sp, Esclerosis sp, Bacteriosis sp, Peronospora sp, Botrytis sp, Alternaria sp, etc.


Included in the list of E.C. Regulation 1488/97, schedule II, part B, so its use is permitted in ecological agriculture, and it also has a wide area of application in integrated agriculture.
