Compostion: Pireco Slugs and Snails is a high concentreated ocmpostion of specifically working herbal extracts based on water and soybean oil. As basis vermiculite has been used, a natural stone that has a high absorbing ability. This gives a gradual release.Effects: Pireco will be absorbed by the roots of plant, bush or tree. By this absorbing the plant buids up its own natural defence. The taste as well as the smell (only perceptible for snails) will change. Because of this the snails will no longer eat. In this way the nuisance and damage will disappear. Apply as from the moment plant, bush or tree start to come out. In case there has been a lot of troule and damage in the past, a preventive treatment is recommended. Pireco has a residual effect for four to six weeks after which a continuing treatment could be necessary (depending of the still present slugs/snails or expected slugs/snails).Application: Pireco Slugs and Snails can be applied in the pleasure garden, vegetable garden and on the terrace or balcony by means of mixing into the upper layer or mixing into the upper layer or mixing the potting compost (see administering). Edible plants will not undergo any flavour changing and will be consumed normally.Administering: Scattering; Rake the upper layer of the earth and scatter Pireco kernels. Divide evenly. Use 0.5 litre Pireco kernels on approx. 25 m2.Potting compost treatment; Mix 0.5 litre Pireco kernels with 100 litre potting compost. Divide evenly. After this pot and repot can take place. |
